Great Progress

Things seem to be moving right along. I have electricity, along with lights, and the air conditioning was humming. Felt great inside the house, on ALL floors. Yay! While I was there, the sidewalk was being poured on the side of the house, and the driveway is done. The crew was also doing some grading for the yard. Still no counter tops, but I'm sure they are coming.

    I agree - the lighting looks great! I'm excited for when we are to the point where we have lighting (or walls, for that matter!)

    Or lighting is the same but they turned them up instead of down. curious as to why, did you request yours like that?

      Hi Kellie. Nope, I didn't make a request, but I was very happy they turned them down. I've seen them installed both ways. Wonder if it's a 'region' thing.

      Love the progress on your home Stacey! I'm excited for the lighting as well.

      Kellie, apparently it's a community thing. I asked at our pre-construction and our community "standard" has flip-flopped between having the shades face up or down. Currently the standard is down, but our PM said if someone wanted it the other way he'd be happy to change it after closing. If you want it switched your PM might do it before or after closing.

    Love the progress on your house Stacey! And I'm sure the counters are coming in soon. Like everybody else, I love the light fixtures. I'm very curious to wait and see how ours will be!
